Dr Yang holds an MPhil in Economics and his PhD researched Decision Processes in the context of Econometrics and Management Sciences. His expertise in mathematics, algorithms and optimization modelling has been deployed in fields including gap analysis and customer satisfaction, as well as in forecasting solvency and stress testing risk factors across international financial markets.

He leads our Data Science area which helps identify patterns and trends from high numbers of data points across large Consumer Audiences. By using AI and sophisticated algorithmic modelling, we can make sense of consumer decision-making, mapping out and explain how individual customers organise ideas and make choices over brands, in a range of differing contexts.
